Get to know Palliative Medicine Specialist Dr. Kavita Sharma, who serves the Mequon, Wisconsin area at Aurora Health Care

Dr. Sharma graduated with her Medical degree from the Armed Forces Medical College Pune in India in 1994.  After obtaining her Medical Degree Dr. Sharma relocated to the United States and completed her residency with the Alameda County Medical Center in California. Followed by her internal medicine residency with the Kaiser Permanente Medical Group. Wanting to further her training she completed her geriatric medicine fellowship with the University of Hawaii. She is tr-certified in internal medicine, geriatric medicine, and palliative medicine. To stay up to date in her field she remains a professional member of the American Academy of Hospice and Palliative Medicine.  Dr. Sharma is currently the Medical Director for Home and Palliative Hospice with Aurora Health Care. She is also affiliated with the Aurora West Allis Medical Center.
